Mercy Burata came to know the Lord through an evangelistic meeting at her home church in Quezon City, Philippines. Since that time she has desired to grow in wisdom and knowledge of the Lord. In 1991, she went to Palau to work there to support her family. There she became an active member of PMF church - involved in Sunday school teaching, leading in worship, music ministry and evangelism. She also received a calling from God for full time service in missions, hence, she returned to the Philippines to study in a Bible School. On her third year, she served her internship with PMF Guam where she served in the Christian Education Department: Sunday school and Kids Club. She also assisted in the worship and prayer ministry of the church. She was privileged to train under CEF - Teaching Children Effectively. After graduation, she was invited to serve with PMA Philippines as missionary teacher at PMF Patnanungan's Learning Center in May 2003. She is now the CE director of the PMF church and the Learning Center Director for all our Learning Centers.
