Amos grew up as a Wycliffe MK (Missionary Kid). Both his grandparents and parents were/are Bible translators in the Philippines. His desire since he began pursuing Aviation in 2000 was to use his talents and skills as a pilot and serve somewhere as a Missionary. In his pursuit to be an instrument rated Commercial Pilot and an A & P licensed Mechanic, he attended Helicopter Northwest where he got his Private Pilot License - Rotorcraft, School of Missionary Aviation Technology for an A&P License and Private Pilot License - Fixed Wing. He also served four months of internship with JAARS. For his flight school, he studied and trained in Mission Aviation Training Academy from July 2002 through August 2004 and received his instrument rating, Commercial Pilot's License, Multi Engine License and Tail wheel endorsement. In his journey through pursuing an aviation career in missions, it has been clear to Amos that God has been directing and providing all his needs each step of the way. He sees the Lord in control and his Pilot.
