Pia was born and raised in Aalen, Germany.
As a child she received Jesus Christ as her personal Lord and Savior.
Since childhood, she had a desire to serve the Lord in full time mission work.
She learned about PMA when Pastor Edmund Kalau spoke in a Bible School
in Germany she was attending. After completing her course in Bible School,
her adviser recommended that she serve in Micronesia with PMA.
She decided to visit Pohnpei, Micronesia first with a prayer in her heart
that the Lord will lead her for her future ministry.
Once she knew that the Lord wanted her to serve there, she raised her support and returned to Pohnpei in January 2005. It is her prayer that the Lord will grant her strength and grace to be able to teach and disciple children and youth who will be able to teach and disciple others as well, according to 2 Timothy 2:1-2.
