Peter and Esther Reichert have served as a couple with PMA since 1980. Peter served as PMA's Chief Pilot and Aircraft Mechanic with an I.A. Authorization, since 1976. Esther grew up in Yap, Federated States of Micronesia with her brothers Norbert (Nob) and Dieter (Tee). She is the daughter of Edmund and Elizabeth Kalau, the founders of PMA. She and Peter currently live in Yap, where Peter makes regular flights to Ulithi, Fais and Woleai atolls and flies many medical evacuations and sea searches. He heads a team of national workers and missionaries who maintain the PMA aircraft on the Yap base. Esther, a registered nurse is also PMA's Finance and Administrative Assistant, and she provides routine Eye Clinics for the local people. Their daughters Heidi and Christel are attending college in the U.S., while their youngest daughter Nicole (Nikki) lives with them, is home-schooled and involved with church youth and children activities.
