Aviation Service in Palau

In July 2012, PMA established aviation services for the Republic of Palau. We provide flights from the Palau International Airport near Koror to Angaur and Peleliu, local or point-to-point charter services and sightseeing tours. PMA's commercial flights also serve the people of Palau by providing emergency medical evacuation, search and rescue, disaster relief, maritime patrol for illegal fishing and other services as situations arise. Supporting or flying with PMA enables you to partner with us in building the nation and serving the people of Palau. Due to the closeness of the various islands and the size of the reef, we operate a single-engine airplane. Our Cessna 206, known for its reliability, has a great useful load and is specially equipped to land on unimproved runways, and therefore ideally suited for our outer islands airstrips. For flights between Palau and Yap our bigger aircraft, a Beechcraft Queen Air, is being used on a charter basis.

Flight Schedule

PMA is an on-demand flight service to the islands. Our AirTaxi Service allows you to arrange a pickup time that suits your individual travel needs - contact us to check how we accommodate the needs of your schedule. Further, we offer scheduled flights twice a week to Peleliu and Angaur.

Please contact our office for your flight arrangements:

Office: (680) 587-4567
Cell: (680) 778-2747

Our office and operation are closed on Sundays.

PMA Flight Operations are located at the Palau International Airport just to the east of the main passenger terminal. Since our office is inside the restricted area, our personnel will escort you to the aircraft for boarding - please ask Airport Security to call us for pick up at the security gate. Angaur and Peleliu do not have passenger terminals, but tour guides can take you to and from the airport as required.

Our popular offer to visitors of Palau are scenic flights: This is the most stunning and economical way to see the beauty of Palau. During our 40 minute flight, our pilot takes you to popular sites of the Rock Islands such as Milky Way, Jellyfish Lake, Long Beach, German Channel, Drop Off, Blue Corner, Seventy Islands, Coral Arch, Downtown Koror, and KB Bridge. The flight altitude is 1000ft, therefore no decompression time is required for divers. We offer free pickup and drop off at the hotel for this experience.

Charter flights to Yap occur in our bigger airplane, a Beechcraft Queen Air. The flight time to Yap is 1h 30min.

The fares below are for adults. Children (ages 3-12) pay half price and infants (2 years and under) fly free.
